Local partners host our professors on the ground. They guide us locally, welcome us into their classrooms to teach their students, and co-design each curriculum with us.

Academic City University Ghana Academic City University est une université privée située à Accra, au Ghana, axée sur l’innovation, l’entrepreneuriat et un apprentissage pratique dans le domaine des STEAM. Fondée en 2009, l’université est aujourd’hui pleinement agréée et propose des programmes dans les domaines de l’ingénierie, des technologies, du commerce et des arts, préparant les étudiants à résoudre des problèmes complexes du monde réel. Local partner Africa Healing Foundation Zimbabwe and Kenya Africa Healing Foundation (AHF) is an international health and community development non-profit working to reduce health inequalities and poverty in marginalised communities in Africa and the UK. They focus on strengthening healthcare, developing capacity and skills, environmental conservation, youth empowerment, food security and agricultural diversification. We have worked on several programmes in Zimbabwe and Kenya with AHF to teach employment skills and entrepreneurship to 16-25 year olds. Local partner African Rural University Uganda Founded in 2009 by the Uganda Rural Development and Training Programme (URDT), the African Rural University (ARU) serves to empower young women of rural communities through education and skill development, so that they can serve as leaders and innovators in their communities. Prowibo first partnered with ARU in 2017, which launched our first all-female programme. We have since returned to ARU three times. Our most recent visit was in 2022 when we held courses for women and faculty to develop their entrepreneurship, leadership and self-defence skills. We normally visit ARU together with URDT Girls School, its sister institution on the same campus, teaching in parallel across both sites. Local partner URDT Girls School Uganda URDT Girls School is a secondary school in Kagadi, Uganda, founded by the Uganda Rural Development and Training Programme (URDT). URDT went on to found African Rural University in 2009, so the school and the university are sister institutions sharing a campus and a mission, giving rural girls a continuous path from secondary education through to a degree. We normally visit the two together, teaching in parallel across both sites. Local partner Ecolotrip Benin Ecolotrip is one of the largest and active networks of young climate activists and entrepreneurs in the Francophonie. It facilitates the participation of young French-speaking people, particularly young people from the South, in climate policies at the local, national and international level. They support projects with strong environmental and socioeconomic impacts on young people and host awareness-raising and educational activities. We have run programmes with Ecolotrip in Benin. Local partner Ekiti State University Nigeria Ekiti State University (EKSU) is a public university in Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria, with faculties spanning the arts, sciences, engineering, law, medicine, education, and management. Prowibo first visited EKSU in 2023. We normally teach there as the second leg of a single trip, travelling on from our programme at the University of Lagos so that both universities benefit from one visit. Local partner KHM Girls P.G. College India Karamat Girls College was established as a degree college in 1946 after 40 years of institutional evolution beginning as a school consisting of six girls in 1912, transforming to a high school in 1924, and upgrading to Inter College in 1936 before reaching its current status. The core mission of the college is to provide young women with opportunities for skill development and empower them to confront issues, such as social sensitivity and environmental consciousness. Prowibo launched its first programme in India at the Karamat Girls College in 2018 with the help of our implementation partner, the Alhambra-U.S. Chamber. We returned most recently in December 2021 running a programme focusing on women’s empowerment. Local partner University of Cape Coast Ghana L’Université de Cape Coast (UCC) est une université publique située à Cape Coast, au Ghana, créée en 1962 et axée sur l’enseignement, la recherche et le développement communautaire. Créée à l’origine pour répondre aux besoins du Ghana en enseignants qualifiés, l’UCC s’est depuis diversifiée et propose des programmes dans les domaines de l’éducation, du commerce, des sciences humaines, des sciences sociales et des sciences. Prowibo collabore avec l’UCC pour proposer des programmes qui aident les étudiants et le corps enseignant à développer des compétences pratiques dans des domaines tels que l’entrepreneuriat, le développement de carrière et la culture financière. Local partner University of Kigali Rwanda University of Kigali is one of the leading private higher institutions of learning in Rwanda. It is a fully accredited chartered university by the Government of the Republic of Rwanda. It started its operations in October 2013 upon receiving a definitive license to operate as a private university. University of Kigali offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional courses in fields such as business, technology, law, and economics. It emphasises practical skills and ethical education, aiming to produce competent and socially responsible graduates. Local partner University of Global Health Equity Rwanda University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) is a private health sciences university in Butaro, Rwanda, founded by Partners In Health in 2015. It trains a new generation of global health professionals through its Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and Master of Science in Global Health Delivery programmes, combining clinical training with equity, delivery science, and community-based learning. Prowibo first worked with UGHE in 2025. Local partner University of Lagos Nigeria University of Lagos was founded in 1962 and is one of the top universities in Nigeria. Our partnership with UNILAG aims at promoting academic exchanges in all fields and sharing pedagogical approaches from different parts of the world. We launched our first programme with UNILAG in March 2022 with classes in economics, financial literacy, innovative design thinking and storytelling. Our UNILAG programme is normally the first leg of a longer trip: we travel on from Lagos to teach at Ekiti State University, so both universities benefit from one visit. Local partner LeadMinds Africa Uganda LeadMinds Africa is a non-profit dedicated to building a dynamic, values-driven community of leaders and entrepreneurs who are passionate about using their skills to drive positive change within their communities and countries. They exist to disrupt the status quo, equip people to unleash their potential, and prepare them to solve complex challenges in their communities. Local partner Likusasa Letfu Eswatini Nhloso Likusasa Le’lichakazile (Likusasa Letfu) is a non-profit founded in 2014 to help local Eswatini youth to develop life skills and further their education through funding academic and vocational training. We look forward to launching our first programme in Eswatini with Likusasa Letfu. Local partner Maejo University Thailand Maejo University, located in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand, holds the distinction of being the country’s oldest agricultural institution. Established in 1934 as the Northern Agricultural Teachers Training School, it underwent several restructurings and renamings before gaining full-fledged public university status in 1996. Maejo University’s main campus in Chiang Mai is comprised of various faculties including Business, Economics, Liberal Arts, Tourism Development, Information Technology, Fisheries Technology and Aquatic Resources, Animal Sciences and Technology, Renewable Energy, Administrative, Landscape and Environmental Design, Agricultural Production, Science, and Engineering and Agro-Industry. Local partner Srinakharinwirot University Thailand Srinakharinwirot University was founded in 1974. The philosophy of the university is to utilise higher education to promote growth in five key areas: faith (self-awareness), sacred precepts (ethics), attentiveness (continuous learning), abandonment (generosity), and wisdom. Prowibo first formed its partnership with SWU in 2017. We partnered with SWU to host our first academic conference in Asia at their campus in Bangkok in 2019. Our latest programme at SWU on ‘21st Century Skills & the Sustainable Development Goals’ in 2022 took place online due to continuing Covid-19 travel restrictions. Local partner Woman Farmer Foundation EswatiniPSF Woman Farmer Foundation works with women farmers in Eswatini, strengthening their livelihoods and their standing in local agriculture. We first worked together in 2025 through our Leadership Lab, sponsored by Stop Hunger, delivering training to help the foundation operate as a more effective non-profit. In 2026 we were able to visit the team and teach in person for the first time. Local partner

Inspiring More Sustainability LuxembourgPSF IMS Luxembourg (Inspiring More Sustainability) is an independent, apolitical, non-profit organisation that has been Luxembourg’s leading network for sustainable development for 17 years. Its mission is to inspire responsible strategies and practices among national economic actors by supporting its members through collaborative projects and promoting dialogue with stakeholders across private, public, and associative sectors. IMS projects tackle three groups of challenges: People – diversity and inclusion, health and wellbeing, community engagement, youth, business and human rights; Planet – ecomobility, decarbonation, natural resources and biodiversity, waste management; Prosperity – responsible production and consumption, social and solidarity economy, communication and reporting, leadership and governance. Strategic partner Learning Planet Alliance Global Learning Planet Alliance is an initiative created by the Learning Planet Institute and UNESCO to unite all change actors to develop new ways of learning, teaching, and researching by sharing our data, practices, knowledge and experience. In January 2023, Prowibo led a workshop encouraging the discussion about taboo subjects in education. With panellists from organisations based in Eswatini, Kenya, and Zimbabwe, we explored the innovative solutions devised by African grassroots organisations to remove the stigma from discussing taboo topics. Strategic partner LSE Ideas Royaume-Uni As a top university-affiliated think-tank in Europe, LSE Ideas offers an extensive base of resources for Prowibo. LSE Ideas helps us to expand the reach of Prowibo’s own ThinkTank, by assisting with our conferences and by connecting us with research associates. LSE Ideas also grant us free workspace and conference rooms plus faculty support, and full journal access. Strategic partner Richmond American University London Royaume-Uni Richmond, the American International University in London, is our first academic partner in the UK. Richmond collaborates with Prowibo on joint research and has connected us with qualified Richmond students to join our team as interns, with many professors from Richmond also teaching our courses. Strategic partner UNESCO Global Founded in 1945 the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) aims to build peace through international cooperation. It is the only United Nations agency with a mandate to cover all aspects of education. Our two year study on Equitable Access to Online Education was published by UNESCO at the World Higher Education Conference in 2022. Strategic partner UNITAR Global The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) serves as the specialised training division within the United Nations system. It is committed to delivering training and capacity-building initiatives aimed particularly at supporting developing nations, with a focused emphasis on the needs of Least Developed Countries, Small Island Developing States, and other vulnerable groups, including communities affected by conflict situations. Our partnership furthers our joint mission of improving access to quality education; it includes access to online teaching programmes and the dissemination of research outputs via Professors Without Borders’ academic journal, Higher Education Compass.
