Our Board of Trustees have a global footprint in order to ensure a diversity of approach and to allow Prowibo (Professors Without Borders / Professeurs Sans Frontières) to reach a wider audience. The trustees empower the organisation and support the management in running the charity effectively. They provide oversight and governance, ensuring that Prowibo can achieve its aims and objectives while remaining compliant with relevant statutes.
Chair
Andrew joined Alfa in 1995 and became a member of the Board of Directors in 2003 as Sales and Marketing Director. He was made Chief Operating Officer in 2010 and became CEO in September 2016. Andrew is involved with a number of not-for-profit organisations. He is Director and joint founder of the Leasing Foundation, an organisation that supports the leasing and auto and equipment finance industry through charitable activities, research and development.

Peter Thomas is inaugural director of FORWARD, the RMIT University Centre for Future Skills and Workforce Transformation in Melbourne, Australia, and Chair of the CDI Foundation, a non-profit conversational AI industry body headquartered in Amsterdam.
Trustee
Jamaal Brathwaite is a Barbadian-born serial entrepreneur residing in Manchester, UK, is a trailblazer in the world of start-ups, diversity & inclusion, and innovative business ideas. Jamaal is the Founder & CEO of Jobseekrs®, an AI software house focused on Culture-as-a-Service assessments and mitigating unconscious bias at all stages of hiring. Jobseekrs® uses advanced AI and data-driven techniques to source and match candidates with companies based on not just skills and experience, but also on their potential cultural-add and contribution. He has managed parallel senior careers in education & enterprise/emerging tech and has taught and written curriculum at every level of education; writing music and producing a large body of computer and traditional art works.
Jamaal has been recognized as one of the “Top 50 Most Inspiring, Prominent, and Influential Black Voices in UK Tech” by TechNation and “Top 5, BAME 50 Under 50” by TechRound, Jamaal’s influence extends beyond his ventures. He actively serves on various boards, contributes as an advisor and trustee, and judges for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards. His insights and achievements have been featured on Channel 4, ITV, and Sky News.
Jamaal is driven by a passion for creating sustainable value, and he champions inclusive work culture, equality, and fairness for all. He dedicates his efforts to inspire others and foster a joyful, healthy, and happy world. As a trustee for Prowibo, he is leveraging his entrepreneurial and fundraising skills to support access to quality education worldwide, empowering underprivileged communities. He believes education is a powerful tool for positive change and is dedicated to contributing to an organization that aligns with his vision of creating a more inclusive and equitable world.

Dr Clare Loughlin-Chow is the CEO of the Society for Research into Higher Education, an international learned society based in the UK which is dedicated to advancing the understanding of higher education, through the insights, perspectives and knowledge offered by high-quality research and scholarship. She completed her BA at the University of Toronto, and holds a master’s degree and a DPhil in English from Oxford University.
She previously served as Academic Registrar and Company Secretary at Gresham College, managing its extensive academic programme of public lectures, and before that she acted as Vice-Provost for Academic Affairs at Richmond American University London, where she had a major role in the university’s successful bid for UK Taught Degree Awarding Powers.
She has held posts in Oxford as the director of Worcester College’s programme for visiting students, and as research editor for literature on the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography. She is particularly interested in international education and encouraging cross-cultural knowledge exchange for academics and their students. Clare holds British and Canadian citizenship.

Pernille Norregaard is a skilled and experienced communications and change leader. Trained in anthropology and journalism, she has worked in public relations and communications for 25 years, merging behavioural science and storytelling to build a successful career. She uses deep insights into human behaviour and culture to tell stories that engage and make people take action.
Pernille is Strategic Communications Lead at Buckinghamshire Council. She has a proven track record of taking a data-driven, people-centric approach and using behavioural insights to build effective research, communication, and engagement functions as well as leading high-performing teams.
She has previously worked for the London School of Economics, Regent’s University London, the Danish School of Media and Journalism, the UK House of Commons, the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Disney. She founded and led a communications and PR agency in Copenhagen for over a decade. She has also served as a board member/trustee for Gambia Media Support, Youth for Understanding, and the Danish Union of Journalists.
Pernille’s passionate about her work in higher education as it allows her to leverage learning and knowledge as key tools for change. Dedicated to knowledge exchange, she regularly shares her knowledge and experiences at conferences, and she has taught media and communications at university level.
Treasurer
Kinna is Global Head of Finance & Regulatory Compliance at Alfa, where she has worked since 2015. Prior to this, Kinna gained her CIMA qualification working at Siemens Financial Services, going on to perform several senior Finance, Accounting, and IT roles across EMEA. Her experience working with a wide array of organisations within the asset finance industry has given Kinna a breadth of experience, across financial jurisdictions, collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders. Kinna is a part of Alfa’s Social Impact Team, and currently serves as a Committee Member on the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) Equity Committee.
Trustee
Carlos Treadway serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Ford Credit Europe (FCE), where he leads operations across nine European markets, providing tailored automotive financial products and services for Ford customers and dealers. FCE also operates as Ford Money, offering savings products in the UK and Germany.With a 28-year career at Ford Credit, Carlos has developed extensive global expertise in the automotive finance sector. His journey began as a customer services representative in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and has since included roles of increasing responsibility across multiple regions.
He has held leadership positions in China, including President of Ford Automotive Finance China, and served as Vice President for North American Business Centre Operations before moving to the UK as FCE’s Executive Director of Marketing and Sales.
Trustee
Antoine Briand is a Luxembourg-based legal professional with over two decades of experience spanning EU judicial institutions, private practice, and intellectual property law. He has built his career at the Court of Justice of the European Union, where he has served since 2010, first as an Administrator specialising in IP research and French and comparative law, then as Press Officer managing media relations and institutional communications, and currently as a Référendaire. Before joining the Court, Antoine was a Senior Associate at Hogan Lovells in Paris, advising pharmaceutical and technology companies on patent, trade mark, and copyright litigation, and began his career as an Avocat à la Cour in Paris. He holds a DEA in Comparative Law from the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and studied as a visiting researcher at Georgetown University Law Center. Antoine joins the Prowibo Luxembourg board as a Trustee.

Eva M. Benedi is a legal and regulatory professional with over 20 years of experience in the investment fund industry. Based in Luxembourg, she specialises in governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks, with a focus on board oversight and strategic advisory.
She is the Founder of Compass-Regulatory Services Boutique advising management companies, AIFMs, and fund boards on governance structures and EU regulatory implementation. Her work spans law, compliance, and emerging areas such as artificial intelligence and digital assets.
Eva brings extensive international experience and a practical, governance-focused perspective to her role as a trustee of Prowibo.

Sam Vinandy-Lau works at Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL), one of the Grand Duchy’s oldest and most established private banks, and is an alumnus of the University of Oxford. Deeply engaged in Luxembourg’s civic and intellectual life, Sam is active in the Oxford University Society of Luxembourg, where he recently moderated a high-profile panel on the future of education in the age of AI alongside Luxembourg’s Prime Minister, the Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, and the British Ambassador. His commitment to education and international exchange makes him a natural fit for Prowibo’s mission. Sam takes on the role of Treasurer on our Luxembourg board.
